I just got a Motorola Razr v3 (Hot Pink) from Rogers and can’t get Motorola Phone Tools to work.?

When I connect the phone it says that it is unable to connect to the phone.

PhoneTools can be a real pain.

Let me guess, it tries to connect forever, right?
First, make sure you’ve installed the drivers for the Motorola modem. It can’t connect without them.

It took PT forever to find my RAZR, but eventually it did.

Other tips:
Make sure you have all of the latest updates from PhoneTools, and
Make sure that you have a Phone-to-Cable-to-Onboard USB connection. RAZR’s hate it when you use extension cables or USB splitters for whatever reason.

Abbie G. Rogers $79.66 Abbie Gifford Rogers, was the first wife of Henry Huttleston Rogers, a United States capitalist, businesswoman, industrialist, financier, and philanthropist.
