How do i connect a rca dvd player to a Mitsubishi older model 27205. have cables in 3 bunch red yellow, white?
not sure if i am connecting right, it says reading then says insert when already inserted? not real sure about channel to put tv on. but when i press input it goes to a blue screen and then the dvd menu pops up. does that mean it is connected correctly.? i hate tech stuff as you can see.. thank you
Actually if you are seeing the DVD menu on your TV you are in good shape….
You should have good audio too….if not, make sure the red and white connectors are connected to the red and white sockets on the back of your tv…they are normally just below the YELLOW video connector you have connected.
ON DVD PLAYERS, you normally don’t use channel 3 or any other channel….You can only use Video 1 or 2 or 3 etc to get the DVD picture…so pressing the INPUT BUTTON is the right thing to do….
