V-Groove Router Bits Allow You to Make Beautiful Woodworking Designs
When you want to add beautiful details to your woodworking projects, v-groove router bits make it easy. The v-groove bit is used with your router to make v-shaped profiles in the center of a piece of stock wood, and at various depths so that the finished results are shallow, narrow, deep or wide.
Whether you are new to woodworking or an old pro, you want your projects to be something you are proud to show off. V-groove router bits let you dress up your creations with a decorative edge, giving you clean, even results. These are commonly used on street address signs for homes, and are useful in many other applications.
A v-groove router lets you turn what may otherwise be a plain project in to one that is beautifully detailed. Whether you are building a bench, country cabinet, bookcase or something altogether different, you can dress things up immensely by adding a unique touch. When you transform your router in to a v-groove router by using the bit you need, which should you use? Carbide (tungsten carbide) tipped bits are manufactured of an extremely hard material that remains sharp for a longer period of time than steel bits, and are heat resistant. A steel v-groove bit is great when you only use it in your router occasionally, but carbide generally lasts about 20 times longer than high speed steel (HSS.)
Woodworking allows you to save a substantial amount of money, especially if you build kitchen cabinet doors and other furnishings that are usually expensive.
