What is the best brand of shoes for Nurses and others who work long shifts standing up?
I’m not a nurse, but I work long shifts which are ruining my feet! I heard that nurses’ shoes have good cushioning, so I’m looking for recommendations for the next pair I will purchase. What brands and models do you like, and why? I find that sport shoes like Nike are not cushioned enough any more, even with gel inserts, probably due to my many hours of walking on hard floors!
Whatever you choose, make sure it fits the arch of YOUR foot. New Balance does not work for me. I have a high arch and I have tried all the brand names for nurses…..REBOC works for me because it fits my arch like a glove. Just go and try everything on and choose what feels best. Good Luck.
